South Korea's gender wars are so fucking spicy. The country has culturally skipped over at least 3 generation's worth of incremental change and now everybody has goddamn whiplash due to exposure from North American/European cultural norms.
Ultimately the feminists are going to win, but it's going to get worse before it gets better. Not making a value judgment, it's just plain obvious. They have a much stronger lever than the anti-feminists do, which is that foids are simply quite happy to live and die alone, while men care a lot more about starting families. It's just like any combative relationship where one partner cares too much and the other too little - the partner who cares less will always have the upper hand, since they are actually willing to follow up on any threats.
But in general SK has really got to get a grasp on their economy, that shit is structured horribly and I would definitely rope if I had to work there. Considering the nature of the economy and the culture wars there, there's really just nothing for me there at all. I'd still like to visit at some point though, just not stay.
