What's especially amusing to me is the lack of self-awareness.
Most sports are glorified/modified fucking children's yard games, yet they call gaming "for kids". They'll make fun of the physique of gamers, yet be the biggest slobs on the planet. They'll say it's pathetic to care about the stories, characters, and worlds present in games, and then turn right the fuck around and base their entire worthless lives around watching OTHER men kick/throw balls at each other.
A normie will unironically scream, holler, and jump around the room like the 28 Days Later Rage chimps, throw and break shit, cry like a fucking 4 year old girl, paint their faces like actual clowns, waste hundreds if not thousands a dollars every year on stupid merch, have no interests or passions outside of professional kid's games, get into fist fights, and START FUCKING RIOTS over that garbage, and then have the fucking nerve to call someone else a loser.
It's genuinely mind blowing to me how pathetic they act and the hypocrisy of saying someone who doesn't behave like that is a failure. It's one of the main reasons why I hate normies actually.
