personally i have never the same extremist view of how the world works of most incels
yes looks matter,no they arent all, depending on a combination of different things said look problem could be overcome with enough effort or not
there is a uglyness scale ,''i have potato nose'' is workable,''i look like the bastar son of a testicle with cancer'' is a entirely another league
i tend to see lookism more as choosing bias, rather than open hostility
lets say you are the owner of a company, and you are having interview with possible workers
then enters someone incredible confident and good looking, someone incredibly prepared but average and a easily forgotten dude, not major problems but no major skills
the first two people will catch the attention and by collateral damage will cause the non-special dude to be ignored
most people dont hate or mock ugly or socially akward people as much as incels put here, rather feel akward around them, ignore them or simply feel disdain
i hate absolute views, there are context and exceptions that change depending of many variables,i really hate the ''just...'' advice, llife never is as simple as ''just....''
unironically everytime i go to incels tears or here i always imagine this
