I feel like many Nintendo fans are shackled by nostalgia and they can't quite move on. They are too attached to Mario and Pikachu no matter how shitty the games are now.

30fps is unplayable for games that aren’t on the PS2 or GameCube, End ot story.
30 fps in Astral Chain gave me headache. Sadly it doesn't have native pc port so i can't play that garbage game at native 60fps as it runs games too fast and is way too demanding on hardware to keep it above 50fps every second. I can use frame gen but it's pretty shit on base 30fps especially in such fast paced games with quick camera movement.
Their newest Pikmin was also running like shit 30fps lmao. If it's 30fps then don't even bother releasing that crap.

There's games that are fine at 30 FPS and those you want the lowest latency and the highest FPS you can get. Diminishing returns are beyond 80-90 FPS to the eye for myself.

Even visual novels are more pleasant to the eyes at 120fps, 60fps should be minimum in any game. Leave 30fps as optional mode if you want to save battery life not a requirement. 40-45 fps is superior to 30fps anyway as you have actual real fluidity and still can save battery life. Deck is using that framerate to achieve exactly that. Tendy is always 20 years behind.
