Nihilism makes sense for those who have nothing in life and also have no prospect or hope of having anything in the future (namely those like us), but Chad's life is meaningful. They get dopamine hits just by being alive. Their neurochemistry doesn't warrant giving up or throwing their life away because they regularly get rewards from life unlike us rotters who have painful stagnant lives.
