I don't know how much parents can do anymore honestly. If you're too strict with them, once they turn 18 they'll do degenerate shit to piss off their parents. If you don't do enough, they hang out with the wrong people. If you're too strict telling them who they can and can't hang out with, they'll simply hang out with the bad kids until they get caught again.
