New Years Today

After I woke up, it quickly dawned on me that today is new years eve. Its not like I've been anticipating this day however, I've hardly even given it any thought until now.
I don't have any plans, or people to spend the time with. Although, im not really upset, I actually almost prefer it this way.
Sometimes I fantasize how exciting and rewarding it would be to have a vibrant and diverse social life, full of people who wanted so dearly for me to participate in their festivities. Oh well, hopefully tonight I can experience a neutral solitude, and fall asleep peacefully before the clock strikes 12:00,
I'm sure others feel the same.

Its unlikely to keep me up, I am currently in a lifeless suburb, the people wont be loud, at least anywhere near me.
