Only savages and beasts get to reproduce, for millions of years it's been this way, the strongest survive, females select for partners with the highest chance of survival. For a majority of our evolutionary history that didn't include intelligence. Intelligence eventually developed with evolution of the brain and IQ began to be beneficial to our survival. But women are kind of in a perpetual monkey caveman state, where they sexually select for amd reward savage behaviors due to perceiving them as powerful.
