I never could understand why american state flags suck this much, just look at literally any one of them....
Like having a coat of arms is not really bad on a flag but it isn't some sort of black magic to not make your flags suck. Just look at literally any one of them.... It is as if the ancient alchemy of flag drawing never quite made it to the state government. The US flag is good and representative of your union, however all state flags suck.
I really can not explain it rationally. What causes this incompetence regarding state flags? I'd be personally ashamed of having that shit on a flag pole.
