Why did Esdeath do nothing wrong in the north. For context, this is what happened: Esdeath fights in the north; it's called a genocide, though, in my case, I'll argue it's not a genocide. You'll see people violate their principles to defeat the enemy. Now, the enemy isn't just someone you disagree with; the enemy is an existential threat to your existence. A great example is to look at how US goverment did in 2020 and 2021; they began censoring media with didnt confrom with what WHO and CDC the Reason why they did it is simple: let's say 5% of Gen Z becomes transgender; that isn't just 5% of the next generation secured, that is more like 60% because that troon has connection he has friends who will be more swayed becuase its personal for them. (its not just trangenderism; this applies to abortion and other which dont have a clear middle ground)So those people who doubted the intuitions were enemies of the state, but they couldn't kill them, so they killed their words, they censored them. Then the next concept you have to understand is nationhood. Take this question: if you moved all Somalis into Saudi and moved all Saudis to Somalia, which one is Somali and which one is Saudi, you would say based on the people group of Somalia in Saudi and vice versa. But this premise could be applied to culture as your affectively saying people who have this cultural cluster(Saudi/somali/ect) are their own people by the fact of languge/upbring/race.how does this apply, Esdeath? And even if you want to argue cultural relativism and say she grew up in the empire, the north was threatening the empire.So that means for you to argue Esdeath did something immoral, you would have to argue Esdeath should not have had the ability to be self-preserving which would make you a cuck.
