My art style used to proudly be inspired by anime, but now, I'm trying to replicate 90s American comic art, like the kind by rob liefeld, todd MacFarlane, Jim Lee and Eric van sciver.
Brain bolland and Mike McMahon are also 2 UK artists who artwork I also like too.

Hes also a boomer, so the west he was born into, grew up in and enjoyed, is not the same one we were born into and grew up in.
A picture perfect example of this is that he met his wife when he was 16 and she was 13, and their still together after all those years.
Imagine that, a 16 YO guy dating a 13 YO foid in the west in 2025.
He'll be falsely labelled as a "pedophile" or a "nonce", and have actual closeted pedo agecuck moralniggers coming after him to do him harm.

The other night, I was brainstorming names for potential characters.
Names like Hooligan, Ruffian, Scoundrel, vermin, urchin, hoodlum and feral.
I know those names sound too descriptive, but plenty of characters have their names give some insight into their personality and gimmick.
Whys batman called batman? Whys the joker called the joker? Whys scarecrow called scarecrow?
Oh, and if you want to use those names for potential characters for whatever reason, you can.

I second the idea of you writing your own comics
He can blind them all with his headlight / flashlight thingy and simply kill them all.
Also, he could always conserve some ammo to raid black marekt arms dealers.
Aside from writers block, another problem I have is coming up with actual original and great ideas for characters and settings.
Because it's much easier to access to media via the internet, it's easier to notice and draw comparisons between certain stories, be bored by them and call them uninspired or rip offs.
People like to think code Geass rips off death note because the MC is an intelligent, manipulative teenage boy ffs.
Even though code Geass is mecha and death note is thriller.
In fact, most anime now is very uninspired and each new one feels extremely samey.
I also kinda backed myself into a corner on what I could write because I want my stories to have a realistic edge.
For example, a story that takes place on a moon colony sounds interesting, but I personally believe that mankind may not ever colonize other celestial bodies in the universe.
Not only because of technological limitations, but also the universe is expanding, making the planets and moons further away and really now, only the super mega wealthy elites will be able to go to space.
Not the mindless majority they hate so much.
If he goes around killing arms dealers and stealing their stock, then the other criminals, mercenaries and assassins won't be able to buy, sell or repair their weapons and equipment.
None of them would hire Overload and would want him dead.

That's mainly because of the performance, everyone loves the art design though which is why it was such a disappointment.
