Every post on Instagram and Reddit is praising Obsession like it's the best movie ever made. It's really weird for a basic horror movie and I wonder if it's genuine or if there's some sort of marketing scheme going on.
Even worse, those who say that low budget indie films like Obsession and Backrooms are saving cinema and Hollywood has to learn, and that the producers took risks entrusting a 20 year old, and that original ideas triumph over big budget... when Obsession is the furthest thing from an original idea, and Backrooms is a mediocre adaptation of a popular internet phenomenon that came with a built-in audience and cost 10 million.
99% of people on the internet are braindead and making up narratives and arguments in their heads. What about all of those who say that Backrooms got review bombed by kids who expected all the levels and monsters from Youtube or the Roblox games, and are too stupid to understand "psychological horror", but then if you do read the reviews nobody is talking about that, and instead people are complaining about the poor script and characters?
Seriously, what's wrong with people? These posts have millions of likes. None of it makes sense.
