Now imagine this.

The main character an incel (obviously) and recently he discovers the hero elliot rodger right after the "massacre" had taken place in may 25th 2014.

When the main character is inside the bathroom...BOOM Elliot Rodgers appears in the mirror reflection and tells him he does not have much time left.

The remants of ER's soul is encompassed in the same body within the main character...Essentially they're sharing the same body and for Elliot rodger to be revived the main character will have to bring about the second day of retribution...

But how about this...imagine it with a plot similar to Donnie Darko.
Elliot Rodger gives the main character visions, enabling him to travel through time to correct all of histories mistakes. Such as allowing women to have rights ETC.
