Venting Never playing video games stunted my social growth.

I never really played video games outside of mobile games as a result my ability to socialize worsened. Every male plays video games and grew up playing with a console or Pc. I had a Pc but never truly played any video games as I guess it didn’t interest me. I only played like 1 or 2 mobile games as a kid. I had Minecraft but I never played outside of creative until 2019. Obviously I wasn’t good at all when playing survival. I never played fortnite, GTA, COD, red dead redemption, etc. I got a Nintendo switch but only played smash bros with myself during Covid. In fact I haven’t touched it in about 2 years. I had stupid useless interests and I hate that.

Yea most people around me played video games, I remember not getting into fortnite because I thought it was durrr cringe cuz popular. I honestly should’ve at least attempted to play it on my Pc.

Well I was low inhib when I was younger and used to have more “”friends”” (really just school friends I sometimes talked to online). During 7th, 8th and even part of 9th I could’ve easily made stronger social connections and gained more respect if I played video games. Everyone usually played video games with each other after school and talked about it often.

Hehe if I was a teen in the 2000s which I always wished I was I would’ve loved to be a nerdy weeb gamer. It was more or less, something that wasn’t as mainstream yet. In fact anime is also something I never watched that a lot of people talked about. I haven’t even watched DBZ and Naruto the most popular lmfao

I am on swim team but I’m fucking awful at it, I did play baseball but again I was awful at these sports. I could make an excuse I don’t practice or take it seriously as I should but it’s more or less a cope for my severe lack of athleticism.

Yeah I remember sessions with a school friend on the Sega Master System. The good old days, irl with wires and shit. I mogged him when I got a Mega Drive though. But online games? I've never played. These days I play emulators.
