you don't even need that much tbh. I spend around $100 a month (sometimes $300 sometimes $20) on miscellaneous stuff and I have everything I need

Neet is retirement. My brother was a wagie until he hurt his back on the job. Work accident insurance had to pay for 30-50% of his income. He was waging at 3 different jobs 7 days a week.
He ended up with a living wage for 3-4 years. I was stressing at my job for less than that at the same time. It was brutal for me to go to work knowing that.
Found a legit easy job and wfh after covid. I wrote about this previous in other places but I gave up on trying to get promoted. White Chadlite got promoted for doing and knowing less. I went the opposite in work ethic and I work like 30 minutes everyday now. I hand everything off all the time to coworkers. If I get laid off or fired I have enough cash to have the same level of comfort for 2-3 years before I run out of money not working. I paired down a lot of costs.
Waging but not really doing work is better than neet. But I'm an ethnicel so I had to leverage it by having a minority manager. My chadlite coworker was promoted by the white lady who is my manager's manager just to clarify. My manager has told them not to get rid of me multiple times (around the time we had a huge layoff re covid that took out about 60-70% of workers and removing whole departments). So he talked me up but his manager still just promoted the other guy. I make 70k or 35/hr and 2% raise annually.

Not every NEET lives with his parents and not every wageslave has his own apartment, it isn't as simple as that in a country with a welfare system. For example my uncle has been on disability bux for over 10 years and has his own council house.

Like I always say, part time is the best. You just visit work a couple of times a week, it feels like nothing. It actually helps you mentally.

Wageslaving allows you to not dwell on your shitty situation, save a little, and think about your next move as you work. Here would be an important time to make connections and try to get a better job. After that, you keep saving for trade school, certifications, or go back to school.
Now for wageslaving after college, yea thats depressing. Youre not in an ideal position. Chads, stacies, and normies who are able to make connections during college, can and often land decent entry level jobs. While losers go back to wageslaving desperately applying for jobs wondering why they can't get anything decent with a liberal arts degree lol.
Anyways regardless of the situation as long as you are saving month after month, and see that the money in your bank is slowly going up (after rent, bills, and food). You will feel better and more optimistic as time goes on. Eventually you find a good job and you keep saving and maybe do a bit of investing.
But yea, you dont wanna be a wageslave while blowing all of your measly savings on hookers and drugs. And drink your ass off, lose motivation, and not get anywhere. Which was what I assume a lot of us do or will do around the age of 24 - 30. You wanna spend these crucial years saving and landing a decent job title as entry level.

If you can manage Iiving with your parents and have a job then at least you end up with most of your paycheck at the end of the month.

Nah it's not that bad. It literally forces you to become more mature and actually develop a personality (without parents the only person you talk to and who can entertain you is yourself). I've gotten used to this shit.
Plus it is an extremely quiet and comfy life without any drama.
