during covid and the subsequent delay from work on top of getting surgery recently took me back and I realized I've gained around 20lbs and relapsed into my old ugly self (167lbs) and I was wondering what I could do to get back on track, wound healing/ recovery time causes hunger though and obviously can't counteract that so what steps can I take?
 
Eat at a caloric deficient of 1200 calories a day with high protein low carb, also intermediate fast the rest of the day. Once you're healed start doing cardio. Get lots of sleep

167lbs isn’t that heavy for a guy. It depends on your height I guess. How tall are you?
 
tey one meal a day and keto as somebody said. if you add low effort stuff like walking you gonna melt it off. if you exercise too much when doing that type of dieting you may feel sick so the walking or swimming hiking etc may be more appropriate gud lukk brocel :feelsaww:

6'0 and wide build but I store excess fat in my torso and have love handles, embarrassing shit.
 
When I was 170 pounds at 5'11 I had serious moonface. I looked fat as fuck, almost like those rodents that store nuts in their cheeks. And of course I had plenty of fat at my mid section. Idk, some of us just have shit genes and if we have any fat in our bodies it instantly shows.

Just don't stuff your mouth, resist the temptation to eat big meals, and make sure to exercise twice a week at the minimum. Each session at least 1.5hrs. If you do this consistently over a couple of months, and depending on your genetics, you can lose 12-20lbs.

Nothing beats the feeling of feeling lighter. You have much less fat on your face, mid section, and fat pad. You just feel all around better.

For me, I haven't worked out in over 2 weeks. I have been slacking because I lack the motivation in life in general.

I'm too autistic and high inhib for discord.

I would recommend just going for a 45min - 1hr walk/jog. And then do some calisthenics after. Its as simple as that.
Or if you have a gym membership, I would focus one entire session on aerobics and one other entire session on high rep/low weight squats.
Squats target the large muscle groups and burn fat in your hamstrings, quads, and glutes. Squats increase your T. The biggest difference between a shit athlete and a good athlete (or someone with a shit physique and someone with a good physique) is someone who can't squat for shit and another person who does full range of motion squats or heavy pulling on a regular basis.

Don't waste money on personal trainers or expensive equipment. Losing weight is simply about burning a shit ton of calories on a consistent basis and resisting the urge to pig out on big meals. If you're really hungry, eat some nuts, fruits, a salad, or small sandwhich and suck it up even if you wanna eat a lot more. Obviously if you do strenuous physical activity like lifting or sprinting, you can lose weight even better than just aerobics itself.

But I prefer aerobics since I am a lonely incel subhuman that likes to think and ponder on long walks/jogs.

Lol, I'm almost the same height and even during my best years, I've never weighed less than 220lbs, probably more than 230 lbs now. My love handles almost look like a second butt lol :feelskek:
