Next week i have a job interview for an it job which could be my chance to escape my shitty wageslave job. My problem is that as incel i totally suck at job interviews. I find it hard to find a positive trait about myself that i could bring into the conversation, also im not very convincing :(

Any advice perhabs?

Flee at all costs the normie advice of being "confident". This will come off as arrogance if you're ugly.

I got hired into a very good job by displaying extreme humility and meekness. I have an ugly friend who once attempted to "game" his interviewer, and the interviewer proceeded to destroy him and his CV so hard that he spent years recovering.

I know it sounds strange but I recommend that you try to be confident and speak clearly, don't be over confident or anything, but don't be stuttering high inhib cel.

Apart from having better resume and good looks there's not much else I can recommend

prepare for template interview questions. get on nofap, take a cold shower the morning before the interview, take caffeine prior to the interview, dress well, shape up, good luck.

Of course, you shouldn't be stuttering.

But, if as an ugly male you hesitate between meekness and confidence, you should go for meekness to be on the safe side.

Exactly this. Failo effect will work against you so you would play it safe

Prepare, if you had to write/type an application double check everything is right. Read up on the company so you know a few things is asked, tell a few white lies to make your seem more experienced for the role than you are. Don't look down, keep regular eye contact. Have answers ready for questions like "what are your strengths and weaknesses". Don't say anything negative, don't be too quiet and when they say do you have any questions, don't say no, ask something to sound interested.

If your face doesn't fit though, it's over within the first 2 seconds of entering the room.

Can you give an example on this? And how do you prevent stuttering, I just can't seem to avoid it

I have already send my application it's just a job interview. Nonetheless thanks for your advice. What would you recommend saying for what are your strengths and weaknesses?

prepare for template interview questions.
1. Why did you choose our company?
2. Why should we hire you over another candidate?
3. What are your strengths?
4. What are your weaknesses?
5. What are your hobbies?

I second this, get used to wageslaving or find a way to enjoy NEETing. As an incel it's not worth investing that much mental stress just to have them probably mock you walk out the door. It will probably be years before I have enough energy to do another interview. Right now when they call back wanting to talk to me I just turn them down.

Speak with a normal tone, as you would with a friend of yours. Never, ever try to fake confidence. Fake confidence will always come off as arrogance, simply because the confidence doesn't match your actual qualities and job experience.

I also made no attempt to give me qualities I didn't have and even insisted that I had a lot of character flaws. The interviewers seemed to have liked my honesty.

I second the advice of researching the company beforehand. They always like when you already know about them or about what they do.

Nah i desperately want to escape my shitty wageslave job in a warehouse i have to take this opportunity

Just say you're focused, hardworking, reliable ect or what you feel you really are good at. Weaknesses, be casual, say oh I'm too self critical or too much of a perfectionist. Twist it to make you sound better than you are.

Alright thanks I'll take this advice in my next interview but how about stuttering? When the interview asks some question and I answer it, I stutter in the middle of answering because I am thinking what to say after or I don't know what to say next.

I never stuttered, but it is common for Asians to stutter, and Elon Musk stutters. Don't fret over it unless you apply for a job in sales.

The thought of a job interview raises my heart rate as if I drank 3 Rockstars. Don't know how you jobcels do it.

In most cases, the decision has already been made when you enter the room. The goal of a job itw is to not appear too aspie or insane.

I see it more as a bullshit contest. I know i need to make myself look better for the job in the interview and they know it too.

LIE ABOUT HAVING A DEGREE AND CLAIM YOU'RE TRANSGENDER

OP What type of job are you applying for?

Have a few beers before so you don't seem too high inhib.

High inhib is an immediate rejection, employers want you to act "natural" at job interviews.

OP What type of job are you applying for?
IT, they need someone who keeps the servers running and watches over the it infrastructure in the office building. I will begin as trainee there but hey its at least something.

just don't give a fuck

this. in the past 3 interviews I went to my dad told me to be confident and sell myself.

he sat on a interview board for his job this week, and was complaining about the candidates being cocky and arrogant. I asked him why he thought that, and he said that they sold themselves too much.

JFL.

Look at example interview questions online for IT positions and answer them to yourself, write them down, practice the main talking points. Dont memorize it or else they will know, but memorize the main talking points to an answer so you can hit them in the interview. Dress well, but dont over dress in a suit and tie. I used to hear the hiring manager at my old work (when I did work) bitch about how poorly all the people were dressed that he interviewed.

Don't wear a suit, wear a nice polo shirt and khaki/chinos.
Research as much about the company and the job itself beforehand, so you are prepared for those sorts of questions.
If you are asked about hobbies mention something unique but not odd. e.g. I mentioned in my interview for my current job that I like to make my own DVD covers for my favorite films in photoshop.
Don't lie about anything that will come back to haunt you. Small lies are ok if they are small

Some sample q's and answers:
  • Why do you want this job? I applied because I think my skills and experience would fit the needs of the job.
  • What are your greatest weaknesses? I have a hard time following through on personal projects. I’ll start a book and half-way through leave it, or start a series and leave in a few seasons in. To counter this, I started making a to-do list, so I can’t move onto the next thing without completing the one before it
  • Where do you see yourself in five years’ time? I’d like to think I’ll still be working here in whatever capacity suits me best
Questions for you to ask them:
  • What does a typical work day look like?
  • What are the hours?
  • Will I be working in a team?
I got plenty more info if you need it OP

Great Stuff, why not wear a suit though?

Would be wearing a shirt and jeans that bad though? Because that's how i always go there.

If you are applying for an accountancy job etc. then you should of course wear a suit, but for an IT job? No.
You won't be denied instantly for it but its better to wear something that is smart but not overly casual for this sort of job.

An oxford shirt is fine but don't wear it with jeans to the interview. Just match it with a pair of chinos and you are good to go.

I am too aspie/insane. People say I'm always totally aloof, uncaring, robot like. It's over.

No. Arrogance is, on the other hand.

Being under the influence of alcohol is going against this very principle.

All that matters is that you seem natural. They cannot fire you later on because you're "shy". Anyways
Have you ever even attended a job interview? Even the largest investment banking firms will reject people just because they don't seem to be acting natural e.g. acting off a script, which most high inhibcels do as they cannot function properly in a social setting such as an interview.

I have no idea where the "confidence" meme started, but in jobs or love, this is the dumbest meme I have ever seen.
