Need opinion on steam deck and emulation experience

I heard its very convenient for emulating games all in one kind of thing was wondering whats everyone else experience with it and is it worth it.

I have one its pretty damn good. That being said it does take a bit of tinkering if you're gonna be emulating shit. The emulation is really sick though I played through twilight princess on it. I sunk like 200 hours into .hack//g.u. on it as well.

yeah im doing it for ps2 and 3 but just thought it might be more convenient and i could play at work or some shi

Just don't expect for it to emulate absolutely every game from a consolesstronger than a ps2/wii u/gamecube.
PS3 emulation is a mixed bag some games work fine (with some stutters) but most will drop frames like crazy especially RDR1, Gran Turismo games and God of War 3.
Demon's souls and Ratchet And Clank HD Trilogy runs great at 60fps (with occasional stutters), both are no longer as demanding as they were in the past RPCS3 devs did amazing job with those two titles.

Xbox360 emulation at least with Forza Motorsport 4 runs fine if you put fps cap at 30fps and fix iso files to not have broken shadows and sun flares
