on-topic, that's technically normal. you need shared experiences for a good convo. and you just don't have shared experiences with normies who started banging in the summer vacation between middle school and highschool.
bad convo: nothing in common, awkward silences
good convo: some things in common, but some "reaching" as you try to guess what the other is thinking or go "uhh... yeah.... me too..."
great convo: everything in common, you agree on almost everything right away, you shared almost every experience and are laughing all the time
normies want great convos so they will curate their friends to keep the friends that give them great convos all the time, and will abandon even people they had 'ok convos' with and not feel any remorse. and that's just the way it is. it's part of why 'just go out there' does nothing.
