The growing complexity of the ever expanding Universe reflects the expanding complexity of consciousness itself, they are inexorably linked. Reality was simple, but as life expands/expanded into its consciousness, its own awareness expands, and the simple Universe becomes complex to match, in every aspect! Those pinpoints in the sky became vast stars as soon as we started looking further. The answers are presented soon after we had the capacity to seek them. But the Universe was simple, until consciousness put itself upto the task of understanding it!
