My supervisor had planned a joint meeting with a fellow PhD candidate's supervisor -- the four of us would inter alia discuss joint research opportunities (the last time we tried a joint research venture it organically bled to death, so a most worthwhile meeting indeed). Travelling to uni takes me about an hour. After waiting for a bit, my supervisor shows up right when the meeting is about to start to tell me that the meeting is actually an hour later -- she had misread 
Fine. So I waste an hour in my office continuing my research. When I show up to the meeting room, only my supervisor is there. After waiting in silence for a bit, I suggested seeing if my fellow PhD candidate with whom I was supposed to have the meeting was in his office. His roommates hadn't seen him all day
So I go back down three flights of stairs and tell my supervisor what I was told. She resumes fiddling on her phone. After a short while, she starts acting suspiciously -- I could already guess what was up at that point -- and indeed, she had also misread the day
TLDR I wasted two hours of my life travelling (which cost me about € 20 to add insult to injury) for no reason just because my supervisor is inept. FML
