I saw hectors thread and i want to tell you what i plan to do for self defense now.

I plan to carry a concealed machete on a day to day basis.

Ik it is illegal in Australia, but im doing it anyways.

My pocket knife has already saved me countless times from fights, but seeing savage skateboarders btfo hector, i need more.

Being in a country, especially like australia(Five Eyes) is asking for trouble.

Wont a machete just be awkward to carry??

Will you keep it in a bag on down your pants or some shit
Ive seen people do that before but it seems like it would be awkward
if you keep it in a bag depending on the situation you might not be able to get it out in time

How are you planning to conceal carry a machete in public? I only use them when I go out on bush expeditions. I highly recommend a strong bear spray instead. If you really want a weapon a switch blade would be the best, but I still advise against it, if police find it on you then you will be arrested.

My 24" tremontina machete has a sheath....

But you're better off with a 7" military style dagger, or long pointy single edge if thats all you can legally carry.

Carry as much knife as legal. It's not going to protect you very much if it gets stolen by the local zog squad.

Forget switchblade's, they are cool looking, but not strong enough to fight with. (They'll break)

I cannot carry legally in cuckstralia by any means unfortunately, but this is some pretty helpful info about blades so i'll thank you for that. Some guy i knew in school sometimes carried a screwdriver and said its for "work"
