Demographics. My dating age range is 16-21. That is only 5 years. My area has a lot of old people, and a lot of families. I often go on hour long walks and don’t see anyone my age. If I was 25, I could date 18-30, a 12 year age range. But no. Since I’m 19 the numbers are just working against me. Most people my age live at college most of the year. And of the girls I find attractive, most of them are taken. The place with the most girls my age is the gym, and almost all girls there have boyfriends, even the unattractive ones. (Possibly because their boyfriends inspired them to go to the gym?) coffee shops and parks also occasionally have people my age, that’s the best place to start but it’s still not great. And it’s not even about girls, I would also just like to make more friends. I think also a lot of young people just sit on their phones all day and don’t get out much too. Fortunately I am moving to a place with better demographics soon, but I have to wonder how much of an impact that this has had on me for the past 3-5 years.
