My mother has set up ring cameras all over the house for the sole purpose of spying on my dad. My dad is disabled and so hasn't worked for the past 5 years, effectively being turned into a pensioner. My mom swears up and down he is ogling women; she thinks he looks at nubile girls on twitter; she thinks he eyes women when out in public (he doesn't do either of those things), and so because of this my dad has become more reclusive, refusing to go outside with her. He already doesn't venture out of the house much due to his disability making him reliant on either me or my mother to chauffeur him around, but with my mother's craziness he really never wants to leave.
My mom huffs about this like a typical foid (she's almost 60 and still acts like a teenager). And so like I said in the title she's spying on him with ring cameras at home, hiding them in all sorts of places to spy on him. She can view them through Alexa or some app.
One morning I spotted one of these cameras pointed at the living room and decided to take it down since I don't like to be spied on. Immediately my phone rings and it's my mom calling me asking me what I'm doing. Then a minute later she calls me and starts berating me about touching her things. Next week I am going to use the shitty amazon alexa to find the location of every one of these camera (this alexa has a screen and it's connected to them and so you can summon it to show you all the ring cameras.) I'm then going to hide them all in a box which I'll hide under my bed. If that spot becomes compromised, I'll find somewhere else to hide it.
