1. Easy to get and order with no effort. Order it from McDonalds. Trout needs effort to be made
2. Delicious, good taste
3. Easy to eat, has no bones, you need to be careful with the bones for the trout

I dislike most seafood. Eating straight trout would be unappealing. Filet-o-fish is at least processed and diluted with batter, sauce, cheese and bread to the point where the seafood taste is secondary.
