I have hope not for relationships, but for my life in general, but it's clear that it won't get any better. Continuing to live wears me out, but my hope does not leave me. It allows me to go on living knowing that I am suffering in this world. If I can get rid of it, I can end my pain.

Hope is a very powerful thing. I think there was an experiment with rats in which ones with hope that they would be saved swam for much longer than the hopeless ones. I'm not sure how to go about getting rid of that hope but I wanted to share the cool experiment.
