I was born with a heart disease where the heart muscle is too big. At first at birth the doctors said it wasn't that bad but when I was 8 years old I got surgery done after I collasped at school, my heart wasn't working properly and my entire chest was filled with blood that wasn't getting pumped around properly. They burned off the part that was too big.
Ever since I had to got to check ups every 6 months. Last year during a visit the doctor tells me the results were notcibly worse and it could cause problems. I had to do extra tests and got told I have a chance of getting random heart failure in my early 30's. I got adviced to get a ICD which I'm getting after summer break.
I've recently noticed that I feel way worse then before. I've always been getting tired quicker then others but its been getting really noticeable. For example today at the train station when I walked up the stairs I felt nearly out of breath at the top and had to sit down a bit to calm down. I have also been getting really dizzy and lightheaded a lot (I used to only get lightheaded and dizzy when I got up too fast but now its randomy during the day) and I have to either sit down or lay down for around 15 minutes before feeling better again.
I inherited this from my dad who has it even worse then me. however I'm the only unlucky one out of my 4 other siblings not just face wise but also with this condition
