I think of a farmhouse. Surrounded by fields and fields of corn. With no trace of humanity to be found elsewhere. Where I look after my cows and sheep, where I take care of my tomatoes and cucumbers. Where I ride my horses for fun.
I think about the green fields. I think about reading books about aliens under the night sky and being afraid that they might actually be real. I think about the sound of roosters in the morning, instead of a wagie alarm clock. I think about turning on my old TV and watching old cowboy movies whilst drinking beer.
Then I fall back to reality.
