RageFuel My Handwriting Progress Thread

Day 10:

ovER for me since I skipped a day, which I'm sure is obvious. I tried to make up for it by writing more.

I do have good news though! The grip is starting to finally grow on me, and it's getting less horrible to deal with. It's still not perfect, but it's better at least. I also tried to write much faster than normal this time, since I didn't want to be constantly writing at the pace of a snail forever. I was surprised that it wasn't horrible at least.

I need to work on making my I's more distinguishable, especially when writing fast, I'll completely fail the loop and so it just looks like an I split down the middle at the end of the letter. Ropefuel!

jfl i still have the handwriting of a 2nd grader

Day 11:

I haven't practiced for the last two weeks or so. I was caught up in something, and while I did write quite a bit during it, I didn't really feel like sharing it since the vast majority was written in a car—making it look considerably worse. I might post it anyway, but I'll have to think about it. Regardless, this is what I did today. I certainly have gotten rusty compared to the last time I wrote, but at least it's not what it was back on day 1...

Since I'm also using a pen, I can't ever correct mistakes if I make them, and so spelling mistakes are difficult to cover up when I accidentally make them.

Brocel have you thought about using a fountain pen I got mine yesterday and it is super fun it takes a long time to get used to them Im still trying to figure it out but it is so cool

Truthfully, this was all actually the work of a few days put together. I always wrote later at night since I wanted to practice, but I was usually too tired by that point to go and upload it and screenshot it all so I could post it. That's my bad, I'll be better at that. Well, at least I, evidently, haven't been slacking...

I can very easily still see that others would have troubles reading this. I don't know how to improve my legibility, it's so frustrating... It's better when there is no text on the other side of the page, but I feel like I have problems if it becomes nigh impossible to read with text on the other side. I also have almost completely adjusted my pen grip to a standard tripod, which is good! However, I have one main issue now.

I think I put too much pressure on the pen... My middle finger, which supports the pen from underneath, always gets bruised and hurts after a while of writing. I'm going to hope that it's just because I have never used it to support my writing grip before, and that it will get better with time. I will also work on trying to not grip the pen as tightly I guess.

I typically use these G2 Gel pens, since I think that it is pretty nice for writing. But I might look into getting a fountain pen!

I remember there was a time that I wanted to improve my handwriting style, but I usually write fast because of the pace of classes (I study medicine) and inevitably my handwriting turns out horrible.

Your handwriting is really nice! It's what I strive for if anything...

I witnessed the death of handwriting during my time in school, and I never really though of improving it until I decided to NEET.

Not too much, but I am actually kind of happy with this one today. I feel like I am slightly improving...
