My old """"friends""""" who haven't invited me to any of their social gatherings for the past 6 months (not that I would want to go anyway) have invited me to play footy with them at da park.

When I hung out with them, they constantly chat shit behind my back and to my face and they expect me to be as spineless as they are to go hang out with them again :feelskek:

I'm the only one of them who has a ball aswell so they're stuck indoors unless I go :feelsEhh:

There's 3 reasons they want me to go out with them:
  • They're just using me cuz I'm the only one with a football
  • They want me to go just so they can shit on me as usual
  • They're doing it to virtue signal to themselves and make themselves feel like good people for inviting the bullied, depressed, isolated FastBananaCEO

I see one of them next week because I'm in their college lesson and I bet I'm going to be criticized for turning down the invite, even though all those people do is chat shit and make fun of me and that's all that would've happened if I went.

If they criticise you, just tell them the truth about why you didn't go. Because all they do is take the piss out of you, tell them that you won't be taken for an idiot. I hope you stand up to them now because you might regret not doing so later.
