99.99999% of the time, everyone is speaking English.
I would have to go out of my way to speak to someone of a different language.
It's especially futile when you remember most people are learning English to speak to us in the first place!

I was learning Norwegian, Dutch, Polish, German and Portuguese, but I realized what use is it if it's not for a career, and the former three are tall man regions, and at 5'5 it's be torture to live there.
I liked Portugal in 2016 but who knows what it's like now. I was thinking of passportmaxxing there, but I'm also ND and sub6 and Portugal is hard language to learn.
I just hate how heightist english/American women are. Perhaps it's worse in Portugal

One time in Portugal I was sitting witg family and the waitress was praising my mom and two sisters for their genetics (we are white). She literally ignored me.

They noticed and admitted that must of been awkward. Then she comes back, probably overheard, and says how handsome I am. But I was fucking damp, smelled like shit and it made the burn that much worse because she obviously didn't mean it. I didn't really care though. I was just a little embarrassed.
One thing I notice about German women is they are crypto heightist. They don't announce their heightism. They just date talls only. This is contrary to Americans, where they have to denigrate short men constantly.
Portugese women seem the nicest out of all women I've ever encountered. But again, 2016. That was a decade ago.
