The sorry thought of the matter, is that you weren't a failure; he had no business participating in creation. Instead who ever opened their legs to him should be ashamed, you're not the failure for what was not in your control at birth; how is it that he brought you into this world so irresponsibly and demands you should pay a debt that was never yours to repay for something you never did?

You don't owe him for a life that is nothing but trouble, you don't owe someone a basket of achievements for a life they don't understand because they are to afraid to look in the mirror. You're not the problem, an ignorant sorry as like him is; now it is your choice what you do next.

I'm sorry for what happened to you, I hate my dad because that idiot never learned and it almost cost him his life, and now this very now it is going to cost him his health and rightfully so. You'll survive, but whether you will be okay with yourself is a matter that is yours to decide.
