So there I am, ready to drop a brutal autismpill on my Oedipus complex gal. I say "Hey mom, I just read that 1 in 3 people who died with covid had autism" She must have wondered if I had some sort of angle with this news. knowing that I know I'm border line autistic. My mee maw then says that I'm not border line autistic but I'm actually slightly aspergic. First time I've heard about that.
A couple months later, a work colleague from an agency job I was terrible at, and let go from early, said the same thing about me. She goes, "ah yeah you're like my daughter who also has aspergers. "
Just around the time I'm settled and comfortable with my mental ailment, the people around me are trying to change the game.
I don't know the first thing about aspergers!
