Last week I made I post saying I would try to grow a beard. I grew for a week, but it was terrible. It doesnt grow much on the side and it was patchy as fuck. It's was way worse than your average soyboy.

That was the main reason I tried. My beard grows really fast so I have to shave almost eveyday and my skin is really sensitive so I hate shaving

Tried that myself but at about the 3 month mark the side effects were too much. Minoxidil was originally a blood pressure medication and has a tendency to cause water retention too. I was sleepy all the time with ugly bags under my eyes. Had to stop with no progress. Sucked.

An alternative that works ok is using injections of HMG, human menopausal gonadotropin. That's not OTC but is readily available from online pharmacies. It's more potent than HCG and at least for me seemed to "open up" hair follicles to testosterone stimulation from nofap. It could all be in my head, though hmg is a little too expensive to use regularly anyway.

Soy boys can grow beards, that's what I don't understand. I think it proves that beard growth is genetics, and has nothing to do with T.

Almost anything which is T related depends not only on T levels themselves, but amount of androgen receptors, obviously. You can have as much free T in your blood as you want, as long as it can't bind to anything (receptors are not there) it is useless

It's actually both are important, with receptors being mostly the reason why there's such thing as phenotypes. Some ethnicities may have larger brow bones for example, and browbone growth is linked with T levels. Does that mean ethnicities with larger brow bones are high T? No, they just genetically have more androgen sensetive skull, so even small T levels make it grow

I've heard prenatal T influences how much receptors you'll have overall, so look at your digit ratio, but that may be bs, i'm not sure. Without pros testing you there's not much you can do... You can only predict by looking at your features overall, like how big your delts/traps are, beard growth, biacromial breadth, etc

But it's full of empty spots with literally 0 hair, I don't think any hair is going to grow there if I wait. And 1 month seems like too much, I want a small beard not a soy beard

you definitely need more than a week to grow a beard. Have patience. It's gonna look shit in the process unless you have a really dense beard.
I am growing a beard as well. Partly because I cba shaving every day and wasting money on razor blades, also because I have a horrible lower third. I will keep my beard until I get my double jaw surgery.
