I feel similarly, though I would descripe it like this: I'm a person that like to give in order to recieve. I want a relationsship with someone I enjoy giving (my love / affection / care / time) to and who feels similarly about me.
Though I wouldn't ask for consent for every touch, wtf, that signals a relationsship with no trust and no room for small meaningless missteps from your side, not to mention it kills any romantic atmosphere by turning the interaction into a court room discussion.
