I got this game for Black Friday sales and it was good tbh I recommend it if you like horror and retro games. It's an indie game inspired by Ps1 classic survival horror games like Resident Evil or Silent Hill so low poly graphics, tank controls, fixed camera, etc. It's also very inspired by 1980s slasher horror movies including lots of the tropes of the genre, having also a very similar aesthetic and soundtrack.
The game is super short (about 3 hours if you don't use a walkthrough) but man it really makes you feel tense The fact there's only one enemy in the entire game (that evil Easter Bunny) but he can appear anywhere in the house randomly was scary. I feel like waiting for a scary part that never comes can be scarier than jumpscare after jumpscare. Also you can only save your game if you have pencils and they're limited (rings a bell?) so if you get killed you can loss some progress. You can defend yourself but ammo is scarce and controls are clunky so you're better off just running away and saving that ammo for the final boss.
I liked the story even if it doesn't take itself too seriously, there's a novelized version which also seems interesting and might read it someday. The OST is also amazing with some very good and creepy synth tracks. The voice acting is bad on purpose so no comment about that. Graphics are Ps1 tier on purpose and they look scarier than some modern horror games. There are also plenty of filters you can choose such as VHS, projector, black and white, CRT, etc. to make the game look more retro and different.
And about the gameplay well this game has tank controls and fixed camera so if you don't like that stay away from it. I got used to them but have to admit they're clunkly. Luckily there's a first person camera mode which has normal controls and it's much more playable, even if classic camera works better I think.
I'd say wait for this game is on sale then buy it if you like the genre and don't mind the old gameplay and graphics.
