Brutal Moving away from my hometown soon

My family is moving from the town I grew up in to the middle of the city, I live in an extremely liberal state so having to deal with protests all day will suck shit

Even though I don’t really go home much due to univ and shit, it’s still a shame to have one of the remnants of my childhood stripped away from me like this

if any citycels know how to cope with city life let me know because this entire situation is complete garbage

I actually left not just my hometown but my country when I was 23, by myself. Even though I ended up a Homlesscel for years after I emigrated, it was still preferable to staying in my hometown.

Hopefully the change is not too rough for you. You mentioned uni, at least if you succeed with that you can move where you want, even back to your hometown maybe?

Yeah that’s a possibility, really just depends on what I actually wind up doing in life but hopefully someday
