I fucking HATE people that watch this normie slop.
I’m only on episode 1, but there are two people that are affected by T1D. One who’s father died from T1D complications, and another whose son is T1D. It’s the first time I’ve heard someone talk about how they were impacted by a parent with T1 and about someone died from complications related to T1 on TV. It was pretty real, and I just wanted to know how others felt about it?
I’m always interested to hear how T1 is interpreted on television and in film, but this was the first time I encountered hearing about it from someone’s perspective who is a real person lol.
The other cast member talks about how bad he feels for his son, and how he would have it himself.
I personally am T1 and about to become a parent, and so far was more interested in her story. Has anyone seen it and what are your thoughts?
P.S I’m aware this is reality tv- it’s just I’m always down to hear about T1 in popular culture
