Im a 4th gen player SIR, im comparing this game to high rank MHW, it has less monsters than world at launch when it should have WAAAY more.
capcom only release the ultimate edition of 4 in the west and orginal mh4 was in japan so you got to experince the g rank and people were disappointed that generation had no g rank just wait for the ultimate edition wihc will be 30 or 40 dollars

Base 4 had more content. As did base generations.
the only solution is buy new monster hunter game when expansion comes out since it is made for the hardcore fans look at iceborne steam negative reviews it is people complain about difficulty and grinding that's why the expansion sales cant match the original game since it filter casual even saw a review from someone who complains from monster hunter ps2 and played other games in the series like generation but iceborne is too grindy for them
that was also my first monster hunter game waas dispointed that gen u is switch only for us had to hack my 3ds to play it with english patch
