I do enjoy the game since it's basically Monster Hunter 4 with more content in HD. However, I can't help but be annoyed at how low effort some of it is. The fact it only runs at 30fps irks me. I wish that it ran at 60fps. The lack of decent monster intros is also annoying. I understand that the OG 3ds game had the same issue but it doesn't excuse it from being a downgrade from even portable 3rd.


People say GU is the best classic Monster Hunter. I completely disagree. It's simply the most accessible classic Monster Hunter. 3U and 4U are both better games.


I'd only suggest starting with gu if you really want to play g rank online.

I hope so too but I doubt it. Maybe they could port it to switch 1 since there's not going to be another big MH for it? Unfortunately they'll probably just make a game for switch 2 and we'll never see a port of 3 or 4 for switch 1.

I don't do duel level quest and Apex monster are crack but cool relic weapons
