A lot of them require little to no skill, and the ones that are based on PC/console games have horrible controls.

Controls are inferior, screen is too small to clearly see what you are doing, they are often filled with ads and microtransactions, they often contain unfun and predatory gameplay systems (eg. timed rewards).

If you are playing a normal game ported to mobile, it will be an inferior experience to the original. If you are playing a game designed for mobile, the gameplay itself is usually going to be of poor quality.

Mobile is fine for some simpler games, however. I enjoyed playing Slay the Spire and Polyopia on mobile because they aren't as affected as much by the aforementioned detriments that mobile ports introduce.

They are ok, most games though have this stupid cooldown system where if you lose a certain amount of times, you run out of "energy" and have to wait usually an hour just to get one "energy" point. It makes grinding so fucking annoying


I once tried to do those "get paid to play games" shit, but the energy system in most of the games made me quit

Tbh, emulation is the way to go if you want to play vidya on your phone. JRPGs in particular are ideal

So a lot of the lighter games are over there now.
