I'm convinced this movie is all a giant psy-ops experiment that Jews are undertaking to figure out how to monetize pedophilia.

This law only removes mandatory sex offender registration for certain individuals. The minimum age this affects are minors between 14 and 17. Essentially, if you have sex with someone between the ages of 14 and 17 in California and you are not more than 10 years older than the victim, you are not automatically registered to be a sex offender. You still can be a sex offender but it is not automatic. It is still statutory rape, however. This is just meant to prevent an 18 year old who bangs a 16 year old from being treated the same as a 40 year old who molests a toddler. I personally don't care if sex havers can't keep it in their pants, but people on this site always complain about nonsensical age of consent laws so I imagine many will be overjoyed at the news.
