I strongly recommend the show. It is depressing to think about the ending as it is basically a rejection of traditionalist spirituality and religion and an embrace of pantheistic/sexed up atheism.

For a long time religion held society together. My country still lives in the afterglow of Christianity. We are seeing the effects of losing objective religious morality now.
