I recall opening a time capsule made in middle school in my senior year of high school. In the letter were details about events and questions to be answered for my future self. One of the questions which was giga brutal to read was "Do you have a girlfriend?" . I am far from my senior year of high school and can still answer no to this question.

Me too. It didn't help that my environment was full of people saying that the older you get the more likely it is to get a gf.
