Blackpill Michel Houellbecq (The blackpill before blackpills)

im planning to buy elementary particles. what do you suggest from this author ? are there any better books of him ?

Libidinal capitalism. Guess that's one way to say it

Hedonic treadmill. The Will to survive. Expanding the free market concept to sexual relations. The Pornification and Sexualization of Western culture, resulting in the constant stimulation of sex drive and potential dissatisfaction / boredom due to limitless nature of sex drive. The impracticality of Love in modern world.

Hedonism vs. Asceticism. The death of Christianity. The unleashment of individualistic and materialistic urges. The solution to end Western decadence and restore asceticism with a new religion. Genetic engineering
--- It seems the man really was a scholar of the :blackpill: before his time. Like the Tesla version of the :blackpill:

tbh only 'whatever' is really relevant. the book you talked about is basically about hippies and bad parenting, old stuff, hard to relate, not much i even remember

Read Elementary Particles. If you really enjoy it, then read his other work. But it's the same essential themes and narrative structure in all his novels.
