such a lovely sound, unfortunate he looks like that. I hear virginal heartache coming out of those strings. He looks like what would happen if Saint Gropehands groped frets instead of phones

All they care about is looks unfortunately.

It wasn't always like that though, in the past personality and character used to have a significant weight in choosing a partner - because choosing a wrong one could lead to a significant suffering.

Back in the days you chose one and stuck with it, so the personality of the person you would spend the rest of your life with held tremendous influence.

Nowadays you cam just have a "relationship" and "see where things go".

And he doesn't even look bad, he looks good and healthy. Its just that the standards today are insane.

This is one of the main copes of East Asian sub5s, to seek excellence in a niche subject or instrument. All this cope to avoid the rope, or going ER / the way of Seung Hui Cho.

Very true. Not long ago if you were athletic, had skills and weren't an abomination, you could almost certainly be married. Nowadays the rise of lookism has taken over.

Even athleticism wasn't that much of a factor, as long as you werent fat it was fine.

I would go as far as to arguing that the new generation is much more health conscious, and lifting consistently is more of the rule rather than the exception.

And yet is more lonely than ever.
