I don't like to work on code; I'm doing it for my job.

As someone working on a unreal 5 game for meta quest 3, this stupid 8gb nigger slop device just keeps CTDing because it ran out of RAM

So it's a game which uses online streaming a lot to load many memory consuming models and uses lots of resources

I lowered the graphics, which stopped the crashes, then the tester complained....Omg so low res

Okay, I made a high res setting that honestly lags but doesn't use much RAM, at least not enough to crash (it's a trade off of caching or loading)

OMG IT LAGS

And he complained about things having to load all over again when not in FOV. Bruh, you know if you cache everything there won't be enough RAM and it will lag even more?

Finally, I added a 2D mode that only renders the important models and nothing else. "But we have to be able to use all settings!'

what the FUCK do you want? How the fuck is my fault that the meta quest device is a underpowered garbage?
