The relationship between men and women can most accurately be depicted by the transactional nature between a tenant and landlord. For those of you who live in apartment and or are the ones whose names is on the lease, you know that while you may not be enemies with your landlord there's always that tension between you two. They always want more money from you if possible and to get away with not doing the bare minimum such as keeping up with repairs that are needed in the unit and or making sure you have hot water and general heat in your apartment building. You as the renter obviously want as much of these amenities as possible and to pay as little as possible. So within this dynamic there is innate tension between the two parties. This is pretty much just men and women. I hate when conservatives and traditionalists paint the picture that men and women compliment each other and need each other in this sort of spiritual way. While in the most basic biological way it is true they need each other to survive, it isn't from this pure idea of love that they coalesce. It is out of necessity that we have these relationships. Romance as we know it's in the 21st century is a lie created by multi-billion dollar corporations to sell you shit. I know I may sound like an early 2010s Reddit atheist but love is a chemical and we have these pairings out of utility. The landlord may not love the person who is renting his property but they need that person to survive.
