Megadeth has some good stuff but a lot of their discography is just mid. Dave can't really sing either.

James isn't much better though tbh. Most of his singing is just yelling kek

Especially on their first two albums.

Later on he got better, but his vocals weren't as melodic in the beginning. Same with Dave.

Countdown was really a big change for Daves singing and song writing. I think he really evolved as an artist once he simplified his work.

I don't think popularity implies something is better but we all have our opinions.

I'd rather listen to megadeth, especially the first four albums.
