The great thing about capitalism is that the capitalists themselves do not have to care about your well being but they do want your dollars so a bad product against good products will lose out so they will have incentive to make a better product, that is if we have a society that is very capitalist, If these androids get regulated to the point that only the much rich companies can afford to make them we might be out of luck but considering these robots won't be seen as a need they won't have much regulation at all much like cellphones.
You may be concerned about pozzed features that will prevent you from having sex with these androids if you aren't some kind of feminist or something but much like how you can buy an android and then install a completely new OS on it you could probably buy an android that is modable to avoid having to deal with the bullshit of companies that want to ID scan you before you have sex with a robot.
